Electrical Testing Explained
There are two areas of testing applicable to this specification.
These are dielectrical resistance tests carried out by the manufacturer on EVERY RUNNING METRE of the product, and are designed to ensure a standard conformity of resistance throughout the entire area of the product produced. This test must be applied to the matting for a set time at the specified voltage.
A specified voltage is applied on each manufacturing batch of matting to ensure it does not have an electrical breakdown if it is exposed to high voltages.
